There are a lot of defendants that need good attorneys and good investigators.
I'm sure you have seen the recent shows where new DNA testing has exonerated people.
Yes, BUT, along with those, there are numerous more pressing issues in simple cases.
And they need a trained eye. And that can be YOU.
Our goal in creating this course for you, the potential criminal defense investigator, is to learn about this unique situation and how you might be able to help.
I have worked criminal defense cases since I started my agency in 2008. This is for private paying clients and private paying attorneys. Which IS different than contracted work, both in scope and payment.
I am also contracted by the government to work on indigent defense cases, from thefts to homicide and post conviction relief.
I started my legal career in the public defender's office in Florida and then went to work as a police officer, major case detective and patrol sergeant. This gives me a full circle perspective on what is needed in these cases.
My solution to your problem(s) is to become a skilled, trained, licensed and approved private investigator, working full time to solve these cases.
In our Criminal Defense Investigators Program we will teach you:
- The theory behind working criminal defense
- Ways to get criminal defense work
- Reviewing the police investigation
- Crime scene investigation
- Interviewing witnesses
- Interviewing officers
- Forensic testing and forensic experts
- Working with attorneys
- Working with the pro per or pro se client
- and more...
